Product designer

& art-director at Aeroflot

Aeroflot

Lead designer and art director at Aeroflot since 2024. This case is about designing a large product when you have nothing to measure it by: the pages carry no analytics, and you still have to decide today.

Cispracs

Faceit left the Russian market, and with it went the way to play a match by the rules. Cispracs puts that back: scrims, tournaments, and match lobbies with map and server bans. I ran the research, designed the core flow, and shaped the concept.

Colozeo

Colozeo turns raw match footage into scouted careers. Across two years I partnered with the team to design the scouting platform, build its design system, and craft the flows that make a player’s level legible in seconds.

SberPay Stickers

Sber released a payment sticker with Soyuzmultfilm characters on it: you pay with it instead of a card. The promo landing explains how to get one and how to use it.

About me

  • 2023—now Aeroflot Art-director Lead the design team of the website and mobile app, eleven designers across booking, check-in and loyalty. Own the design system and its release cycle, set the quality bar for every screen, review each release with product and engineering, and grow the team through hiring, critiques and mentoring
  • 2021—2023 Kite Bank Senior product designer Designed onboarding, card issuing and payment flows for a retail bank, from research to launch. Ran usability tests every sprint, turned the findings into a backlog with product managers, and grew the component library from 40 to 160 parts, with documentation engineers actually used
  • 2019—2021 Orbit Mobility Product designer Redesigned the driver app end to end: shifts, earnings, navigation hand-off and support. Prototyped new ride modes and tested them on the road with drivers, cut the steps to accept an order in half, and brought the interface up to accessibility guidelines for contrast, type size and touch targets
  • 2017—2019 Plain Agency UI designer Websites and brand identities for clients in Europe and the US, from first sketches to handover. Built motion and interaction concepts for product launches, prepared design specs for development teams, and presented work directly to founders and marketing leads

What I love most is what’s easy to overlook: how the grid behaves as content grows, what an empty screen communicates, where a component stops being reusable. This work is almost invisible — and that seems to be the point.

At the same time, I monitor consistency across products and assist other designers. Nothing revolutionary: I just want people to understand what’s happening on the screen.

Outside of work I collect printed matter, walk the city without a route and redraw old interfaces from memory, just to see which of their decisions still hold up.
